What are people looking for in a golf course besides beer cart girls? Apparently, a Remax sign: An average of 2,900 monthly searches are conducted for ‘golf courses for sale’. The venerable ‘Pebble Beach Golf Course’ only barely tops it with 5,400.
Oddly enough, when queueing in ‘golf course’ and ‘golf courses’ as the terms to key off of, ‘Michigan golf course’ is the first geo-based term in the list with 2,400 monthly searches – more than Arizona at 1,900. I immediately have to wonder if they have badger hazards in Michigan and for what portion of the year they have to play winter rules…
Topping nearly every other search? Miniature golf course at 4,400 per month – impressive considering that it only really rises above a murmur for four months of the year starting in June.
Mom says there are no posts that are like me. I am unique.

Interesting stats. That many for Miniature Golf wow!. What monthly search numbers did you get for the search terms “golf courses” and “public golf courses”? Actually while your at it .. how about “top golf courses”

Granted, these should only be used for directional purposes – i.e. don’t count on winning for ‘Michigan Golf Courses’ and being assured of 2,400 visits a month from it – but it will at least be able to give you an idea of which ones to pursue in your paid and natural efforts, and which ones aren’t worth the time.
